I have been thinking a lot about my intention. It has changed as I have thought deeper and talked with others about it, as they have shown me insights about my own thoughts that I had taken for granted. It is very hard for me to narrow it down enough to articulate it in only one or two sentences. My mind and what I feel just seems to complex for that. But maybe this is my fallacy, and after this weekend I will understand that better. Or on the other hand, maybe I don't need a sentence, maybe if I'm strong enough I just need a feeling. Orrrr maybe not, lol. But if I could make any song my intention, I would choose this one. It accurately reflects my feelings for our world and our responsibility to it. Sprinkle in some of Carl Sagan's humble wisdom, and one of the greatest guitar solos that has ever personally spoke to me, and you have one of my favorite music videos ever. My deepest intention will be to take these feelings with me into ceremony.

Gotta love the mushy gushy guts part of spiritual growth and awakening. We transform and transition from who we were to who we are becoming… 🐛✨🦋
Grounding isn’t about escaping upward, it’s about remembering the roots that keep us real. 🌱

“Once you see the way broadly you will see it in everything” feels like an unfinished idea. “Once you see the way broadly you may never see it narrowly” feels to encompass my intentions. I see PARTS of it in everything but ALL of it in nothing. The fucked up part, “it” or “the way” changes constantly. I see the ever changing reality of my existence broadly over time, so that I may NEVER see change narrowly in the present. The calculus to accurately identify my change is blinded from me, (part of me thinks I did that intentionally, the other feels I am blinded forever to the future) but change broadly, it is mandated by my subconscious. The way that I have broadly seen, leads me to bend the knee to this narrow view of “divine intervention” that others would define my circumstances as. To bend the knee to my past intentions and to stand up for my present ones. The balance between the two. To fall on either side of the beam, you meets the same floor, I am not trying to reach the sky. However, I am trying to not reach the floor. The way is not down, but I cannot go up. I see “not down” incrementally in everything but I see up completely in nothing. My new intention is not to go up…. It’s to not go down. “The way” is not up. Way is “not down”. I may never see “not down” narrowly again.
This reminds me of where I go to in ceremonies...
Sunday Funday tomorrow! 🎉 Just a heads up: we’ve moved our Potluck to tomorrow (after Sunday Service) so it doesn’t collide with a ceremony weekend at end of the month. 🍲 Bring a snack or dish to share—or simply stick around and enjoy what’s available.

Being a spiritual person in a material world can be difficult at times, and there is no escaping that it will beat you down, or at least it will try. It will definitely try. But we all have the power to tell ourselves no, nice try, but not today. And yes, some days we are stronger than others. We all experience the roller coaster of life, and there is no escaping the ups or the downs, or the unexpected loops. But when we step back and look at our past/present/future, we see that it is simply a wave function that is going in a straight line. There are no ups and downs from this perspective. To me this is hidden knowledge, which is very hard to articulate.
I can't speak for anyone else, but for me, I don't want anyone's sympathy, and I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me. I just want to be understood. When I'm up. When I'm down. When I'm seemingly going sideways and can't figure out if it's a good thing or a bad thing. I just want to be understood. It brings me peace.
I know that many of us are working on relationships with people that we love, and as I have done this work myself, this song has really helped me stay positive and true to myself and what I am willing to accept. It is a very emotional song for me. It makes me sad, but then shows me my true power through that sadness. I sing this song with watered eyes and an unshakable confidence(to myself in the car 🤣).
It also now reminds me of the beautiful people that I have found at Two Birds. So I want to share this with everyone in hopes that it can have a positive impact on anyone who is open to it.

I am that I am is where the path has lead me. Absolute beautiful ridiculousness of trying to dissolve the version of myself that has been growing for 56 years. What a hilarious paradox of thought telling myself I am not that/those thoughts.🤣 So I became aware of a beautiful peace that was always inside me at night 2 of my first ever ceremony. The integration of that experience is still ongoing even though I've since had another ceremony. The "aha" moment at that exact moment shattered all that is and was of how the me that I guess is me operates. The system itself that was there b4 I was born is very simple made unnecessarily complex by the experience and the dominion of the ego I thought I was. Choice. We can simply choose to be happy and give respect to the amazing creation of humanity in this existence. Nothing happens if I don't observe it. That makes my observation of creation divine by definition. Put here by divine to be divine and record this particular perspective of divine. I am you and you are me because neither of them exist...it's only 1 consciousness. That said being human is special because the point of the whole thing is senses and feeling life. The inner God of us all is feeling its creation through each different human experience. We are programmed with likes, dislikes, fears and character traits noone else has...no 2 snowflakes are alike. Acceptance was a huge key in my addiction recovery and its an even bigger key in this spiritual walk. I didn't realize I could just choose happiness and joy in even the simplest of life's moments...but now I do. My energy is love and kindness, and I don't want to fight anyone. 3rd ceremony this yr is coming up in 2 weeks and I just wanted to shout out to all and thank you all for enjoying this life together. As above, so below is just so simple that most reject it. Being happy...I feel...takes no effort. Love and light and thanks for the listen.🙏👋
