Took last year at a restaurant, subsequently forgotten, then found again during a recent photo clean. It made me laugh when I saw it. Three's a crowd!
I’ve been going deeper. Running ground level experiments on light myself in front of 11 year olds. The amount of wonder I’ve seen in children and adults during my playtime is so much more than I ever experienced as a math teacher. I did the same shit with beautiful math every day and not once did I see wonder like I have now. I have no clue what my goal is here. But I’m DOING. It’s so fun. I am doing math and calculations, as well as taking pretty pictures. Enjoy my latest experiments with light and rainbows. :)

This is one of my favorite podcasts out there from one of my favorite people Omar Safi (professor at Duke University) from the Be Here Now network. This episode is about how Sufism has inspired pop-culture; in this case Star Wars (but there are others like, Dune and Cloud Atlas).
If you are already familiar with this podcast, the most recent episode talks about the life of Ibn Arabi (probably one of favorite spiritual teachers ever), and I could not help but to cry during the whole thing haha. Anyway, I hope you might like them, its too good not to share.

October was rich with presence—two beautiful ceremony groups, heartfelt Sundays full of music and meditation, and a community that continues to show up with honesty and care. Thank you for walking this path with us.
As we move into November, we’re grateful for the steady growth and depth we’re seeing across the circle. Two more Sacred Ceremonies await this month—join the waitlist or grab any open spots from the calendar if you feel the call 🌿
A few updates to note this month:
🌌 Our Cacao, Hapé & Sound Journey has moved to Saturday evenings to better support those traveling from afar.
🍜 Dinner Night Out is also now on Saturdays! This month we’ll be returning to Zenna Thai—always a favorite.
📚 Book Club is back in session with a new title voted in by the community—come join the conversation!
🍽️ Community Potluck will continue on the last Sunday of the month—a warm, family-friendly night to share food and connection.
🕯️ November carries a quieter wisdom. The days grow shorter, and the season invites us inward—into reflection, clarity, and inner alignment. No frills or fluff—just a reminder to keep listening, keep showing up, and keep trusting your own unfolding.
We're honored to walk this path with each of you.
A’ho 💛

As the nights grow longer, we honor this turn of the season—a time to slow down, release what’s run its course, and welcome what’s next. Samhain reminds us that change is part of the rhythm.
And for those celebrating the playful side of Halloween tonight, enjoy it all with heart and good company.
From all of us at Two Birds Church 🕊️🦅
We’ve moved our next Sound Journey to Saturday, November 15th to make it easier for those coming from work and evening traffic 💛
If you’ve sat in ceremony before, this is a beautiful way to reconnect with the energy, the space, and the music — to sit with cacao, Hapé, and yourself once more. 🌬️
And if you’ve been curious about ceremony, this evening offers a gentle introduction — a chance to experience the atmosphere, the songs, and the sacred stillness we share at Two Birds Church. 🌌
It’s not about healing or fixing — it’s about being. About relaxing, unwinding, and remembering the quiet within.

🕊️ Two Birds Church 💫
21 hours over the span of 3 days. When opportunity presents itself, I would be a fool to turn my back on it. I got a $8000ish tattoo of my ayahuasca visions for $1000. I have never endured such an experience and I’m interested in how it gets integrated into my life. I proud of myself. I sat like a fucking rock. Motionless torture in pursuit of a masterpiece. It was an ordeal for sure, parallels to ayahuasca ceremonies and staying still on your mat were everywhere.
ps- 3 dots of sapo is so much worse lmao just doesn’t last 21 hours. I was constantly comparing the two 🤣.
Join us for our next Sapo / Kambo Circle — a grounded, safety-forward experience guided with care, music, mindful pacing, and optional Hapé for grounding.
If you’re new to this medicine, please check out our free prep course and event page first to understand what to expect and how to prepare. 💧

Words don't do it justice...it was more. More love than this temple could contain. Thank you Christina and Jay for creating such a transformative space for growth, love and healing. From the depths of my soul I am blessed and grateful. Emily, Tim, Thomas, Joseph, Phillip and Justin...you were a gift in my existence and you will be in my heart 4ever. I am so happy to have shared this ceremony of enlightenment with you, and I pray your highest good in all you do. 🙏
