Waiting for tea to cool is the best teacher of patience. Feeling grateful!

Filled with love and appreciation for the community after our wonderful gathering and shared feast. Thanks again to Hamid for another enlightening and nourishing Sunday service. Here’s the quotes I shared on gratitude today - and a most happy Thanksgiving to each and every one of you🙏🦃💗

Awesome meditation on Gratitude from Hamid tonight! At his request, here are my wishes/prayers/affirmations I do each morning, when I was recovering from a dark place I went through these a LOT. You can play with the pronouns. I, we, you, etc.

May I be happy.

May I be healthy.

May I be peaceful.

May I be free of suffering.

May I be kind to myself.

May I love, want, and cherrish myself as I am today.

May I recognize my value.

May I be free of irrational worries and anxieties.

May I trust myself.

May I be free of the weight of my own expectations.

May I welcome and surrender into today.

May I welcone and surrender into tomorrow.

May my heart be smiling.

I came to a lot of this through a helpful book on mindful self compassion. Putting a link here.

Good morning, Tribe!

Paula and I are excited to invite new friends, old friends, and all those yet to be made to our Friendsgiving Celebration happening this Saturday, November 23rd at the Tree of Life Farm. This special twist on Thanksgiving is our way of honoring the friendships, love, and community that nourishes us all.

Join us for an unforgettable evening under the stars as we begin with a potluck, featuring dishes from our diverse community, followed by a soul-nourishing drum circle and sound bath with a variety of instruments to close out the night.

Camping is available at the farm if you'd like to stay the night. There is also space available in our Sage cottage for people to set up if they do not have a tent. Bring extra blankets as it may get cold!

As a sanctuary for both humans and animals, Tree of Life Farm is an alcohol-free environment, and we encourage guests to bring vegan/vegetarian dishes to share in the spirit of harmony and respect for all living beings.

Please message myself or Paula for the address! We look forward to celebrating with you.

Mush love!

My virtual share for the week, this was my first exposure to kirtan and opened my heart to seeking spiritual community.

My understanding of the translation of this simple mantra is roughly "Gone, gone, gone beyond, gone beyond beyond, hail the goer." Something I find deep peace in, and perhaps many of us can relate to. Hail to all the goers this weekend.

Looking forward to seeing everyone next week! A'ho!

"The fish trap exists because of the fish. Once you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. The rabbit snare exists because of the rabbit. Once you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words exist because of the meaning. Once you've got the meaning, you can forget the words. Where can I find one who has forgotten words so I can talk with them?" -Chuang Tzu

I love this quote. Some of our shorter shares on Sunday remind me of it fondly.

Wanted to share my recent murals with the community that I talked about in church this past Sunday. I painted these in St. Augustine, FL - one featuring the local swampy wildlife and also a reference to a vintage gator postcard. Much gratitude extended to both Mother Aya and the Two Birds community for the healing that helped me find my way back into the mural painting saddle after a very long 7 year hiatus. 🐊🐟🌿🙏💗
