Ready for this to hopefully make me learn from the spirit and grow from things which hold me back.

As we step into February, Two Birds Church continues to deepen our connection, growth, and shared journey. 🌿 January set a strong foundation for the new year, full of community and deep authenticity, and now we move forward with renewed purpose, embracing the lessons and opportunities this new month brings.

As we settle into the year, we’re super excited for what February offers here at the Church. Ceremonies are continuing strong, and there are currently openings for March and April! 🌿✨ Check out our Calendar Page for more info on those.

Each gathering we share is an invitation—to heal, to grow, and to be present in the sacred flow of life. This month, we focus on deep cleansing, heart expansion, and vibrant community energy, guiding us through the winter’s stillness into the promise of spring.

Looking forward to the February 21st ceremony! 🍵 ❤️ 🙏✨

Last year was spiritually transformative, and this must be the year of realization. I'm deeply thankful to each of you for your love, kindness and compassion.

Going into sacred ceremony, I feel the need to share this favorite passage of mine I regularly meditate upon, a great source of inspiration for me from a Toltec prince named "One-reed" (or "Ce Acatl" in Nahuatl):

Above all things, seek ye the friendship of Him for whom we live, for He is in everything and everywhere in every moment. He is night, and he is wind. He is far, and He is next to you. In such endeavor, be ye neither boastful, idle or cowardly.

-Prince Ce Acatl Quetzalcoatl, Huehuetlatolli de Padre Olmos and Suma indiana.

As an added note, it is well known Quetzalcoatl means "Feather Serpent" (Quetzal = feather, Coatl = serpent). It's a beautiful symbol of the joining of two beings: the serpent that is condemned to drag on the earth, and a bird that can fly and soar in the heavens. It is the serpent that "learns how to fly" in the heavens, in other words: an enlightened being. Jesus would put this as being born of water and fire. The merging of two opposites.

Very interestingly, "Quetzal" also means "Precious", and "Coatl" also means "Twin". This is my favorite symbol, the "Precious Twin". I like this because it makes me think that the twin is already there, there is no need to become anything, we are already it. I like to compare it to Krishna (which in Sanskrit means "black", to me it could also be understood as "unseen"), and Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita. In a way, the story is about Arjuna talking to himself.

In any case, I feel like Hafez (the sufi poet) who once said "there are two of me living in this body", and I can appreciate it. Almost like I am the joining of "two birds" 😜 the seen and the unseen.

Lots of love, everyone!

Sapo Sapo 🐸🐸🐸 Our February Sapo is coming up at the beginning of the Month, first Sunday!

Happy New Moon in Aquarius!

The new moon offers a moment of stillness—a blank page, an open door. Aquarius energy reminds us to think beyond limitations, to question old patterns, and to step more fully into our authentic selves. While the stars don’t dictate our path, they can serve as mirrors, reflecting back the wisdom and power already within us.

What new ideas, perspectives, or changes are stirring in you? Take this time to set intentions—not as wishes cast into the cosmos, but as conscious choices rooted in your own capacity for growth and transformation. The future begins with what you choose today.

I really believe now that if I follow my heart it’ll lead me on to my highest path.

I hope everyone had a wonderful time at the potluck tonight. I really wish I were there. I heard I was missed in shares today and It just about brought me to tears, to know I'm loved and seen by my community/friends. Thank you.

A small update on my journey; I'm on day 3 and currently in Williams Arizona with plans to see the grand canyon tomorrow after getting my car fixed. Afterwards I'm gonna try to make it to California or at least as far as I can go. I've been taking it easy each day with about 5 hours driving total broken up by multiple breaks every hour and occasional fun detours like scenic views or dispensaries.

Today has been the hardest of the days. I didn't sleep well either night so far and the pain is starting to get to me today. My car broke down as well and I haven't been able to get to a mechanic since it was too late. That started letting the loneliness get to me too.

But there's a lot of positives so far. Tokey is doing very well, driving conditions have been good, and I generally haven't had to deal with any people in a negative way.

Would love to hear from anyone who wants to talk so ask for my number or call if you have it already.

Attached is a picture of Tokey and I at Cadillac Ranch.

Love you all!
