I hope everyone had a wonderful time at the potluck tonight. I really wish I were there. I heard I was missed in shares today and It just about brought me to tears, to know I'm loved and seen by my community/friends. Thank you.
A small update on my journey; I'm on day 3 and currently in Williams Arizona with plans to see the grand canyon tomorrow after getting my car fixed. Afterwards I'm gonna try to make it to California or at least as far as I can go. I've been taking it easy each day with about 5 hours driving total broken up by multiple breaks every hour and occasional fun detours like scenic views or dispensaries.
Today has been the hardest of the days. I didn't sleep well either night so far and the pain is starting to get to me today. My car broke down as well and I haven't been able to get to a mechanic since it was too late. That started letting the loneliness get to me too.
But there's a lot of positives so far. Tokey is doing very well, driving conditions have been good, and I generally haven't had to deal with any people in a negative way.

Yes you are missed and thank you for an update and a picture! That sounds really rough physically😓, traveling can be exhausting I hope the dispensaries are helping relieve some of the pain ❤️. I’m stoked you’re hitting up Grand Canyon it’s a very beautiful place! I highly recommend sunrise/sunset at the canyon! What’s the status on the car is it an easy fix?
@Christina it should be an easy enough fix, but the issues were a lot. Oil got into all my ignition cylinders so I have to replace the valve cover gasket, oil, all spark plugs, and all the coils. I had to wait overnight because I'm the the middle of nowhere in a snowstorm. But the mechanic is super sweet and even gave me a ride to the motel. Arizona has been full of kindness but this little town in the middle of nowhere is on another level of kindness from everyone I've interacted with

You and Tokey are so loved & missed Logan! So sorry to hear about the rough parts. You are literally my hero for doing something so insanely hard and cool like moving across the country on your own.
