Welcome to June @ Two Birds Church
May was a spectacular month. We held a beautiful two-night, and we also had an incredible one-night with people who've already sat with us here at the church. These one-nights have been so rewarding. We're trying to schedule more of them for folks who've already sat with the medicine with us and are looking to reconnect and fit it into a real-life schedule. Just to be clear — the one-nights aren't for first-time sitters. If it's your first time with us, we'll always start you with a full weekend first.
As always, we had great groups for Sunday services. The community keeps growing in a way that's honestly incredible to watch — the shares have been deep and raw. If you're into authentic people and not performative spirituality, come check it out. The potlucks were great this month too. The baklava was my favorite. 🤤

🌿 Two Night Sacred Ceremony — June 19th–21st, our summer solstice sit with James & Christina.

📚 Book Club — Mondays on Zoom, 6–7pm.

I just moved back to Texas from California after 16 years. I'm planning to attend Sunday service on the 21st and the hapé and sound meditation on the 27th. I'm looking forward to meeting whomever may be there.
I've only sat with the medicine once, in December of last year. I feel called to sit again and continue the work.
I learned so much the first time. I learned I didn't really love myself or feel deserving of love. And that admitting that to myself felt like weakness. And these lessons are beautiful. We get a little bit of freedom back when face these things and let them go.
After some reflection, I realized that if I had to distill everything, I'm learning to be a better family member.
I am very grateful to have found the medicine.
Hey friends. Quick question to Jay and Christina to ask if there's ever any talk of doing longer ceremonies. I saw the one day ceremony and would be very interested in a 3 or 5 day experience, and just wondered if others felt the same way. I am blessed to have looked into the light and would love to go deeper into what integration has already given me. Just asking. 🙏
