My sweetheart Jeff's birth mama, Melanie, passed away this morning. Upon finding out that he was adopted, when he was 21 years old - after the death of his father (Who he later learned was his adopted father. His adopted mother died when he was 13) he searched diligently for his birth parents. He found Melanie, and since that moment built a strong bond with her. She loved us and her grandchildren tremendously. Her wit and humor will be missed.

I really don’t think words are adequate for grief.
I am sorry for his loss and the pain he is experiencing. It’s really fucking awful. I pray he can experience comfort through out this.
