๐ Autumn Equinox at Two Birds Church ๐๏ธ๐ฆ
The Autumn Equinox marks one of only two days each year when day and night stand in perfect balance. ๐ Neither light nor dark has the upper handโitโs a pause point in the turning of the seasons, a mirror inviting us to notice where we might seek balance too.
Itโs a time to reflect:
What have I harvested this yearโwhat has come to fruition in my life? ๐ฝ
What am I ready to release and lay down with the falling leaves? ๐
What seeds of intention do I want to plant to carry into the quieter months ahead? ๐ฑ
Yesterday at Sunday Service we created an aโfrendaโa shared offering built ingredient by ingredient. Each held meaning: corn for abundance, cinnamon for warmth, lavender for release, beans for sustenance, flowers for beauty, sunflower seeds for growth. Together, we placed our prayers into the mandala and then returned it to the earth.
As we step into the darker half of the year, may this turning of the season remind us that balance is not a fixed state, but a practice. ๐โจ

This sounds lovely. I really would have loved to have been there.
