After my journey this weekend and meeting Mother Aya, I want to recommend Avatar and Avatar 2 The Way of Water.
In the movie, Eywa, also known as the All-Mother or Great Mother, is the biological sentient guiding force of life.
It's clearly very inspired by Ayahuasca and the idea of a tribal/communal living scenario that is more in touch with nature. The scene where they plug into the great tree and see their lost child and come out of it with better understanding and peace of mind, is like a very quick run through of the positive potentials psychedelics have, especially in regards to personal trauma, grief and loss.
Elmer, my younger son Noah has been obsessed with Avatar - The Last Airbender. He named one of our dogs Katara! So interesting about its connection to Ayahuasca. I’ll have to tell him about that (plus he’s been re-watching the whole series with me so that he can see my reactions to it)!
Avatar Airbender is something else.
The Avatar I speak of has blue people.
Ah, got it!! The one I’m talking about is also extremely spiritual, so I got them confused. I can’t wait to see Avatar 2 — glad for the reminder!
Hehe no worries. Unfortunately it's no longer in theaters to receive the full 3D visual effects. That said, have a blessed day Lisa!
I assumed. But I can stream it. :)
Yes. This is a preview.
