October has arrived ๐๐
September brought us deep Sundays, powerful ceremony, and our despacho Equinox serviceโa beautiful afternoon of harvest reflections, heartfelt shares, and a living mandala returned to the earth. Thank you to everyone who showed up with honesty, reverence, and full hearts. And of course, thank you for our biggest potluck of the seasonโyโall showed up with love and food!
As we move into October, the season shiftsโand so does our schedule:
๐ฝ๏ธ Our Community Potluck will happen one week earlier than usual on Sunday, October 19th to accommodate our Ceremony Weekend at the end of the month.
๐ Sound Journey is on pause this month due to the ceremony calendar, but will return next month with updated timing to better support evening travel and accessibility.
๐ฟ Weโre back to TWO Sacred Ceremonies this month! You can join the waitlist or RSVP for future dates anytime: ๐ View the Calendar
โจ If you missed our Autumn Equinox Sunday, we explored the balance of light and dark, the wisdom of the season, and created a collective offering with corn, lavender, cinnamon, beans, flowers, and sunflower seeds. Each ingredient carried a personal prayerโof harvest, of letting go, or of intention for the darker season ahead. Thank you to everyone who added your presence and spirit to the circle.
๐ Book Club Update:
We just wrapped up The War of Art and are now voting on our next book!
Submit your pick or vote for your favorite here: ๐ Book Club Chat
Voting closes Monday, October 13thโjump in while you can!
๐ Dinner Out this month will be back at Zenna in Planoโalways a fun, casual evening to drop in and connect with your fellow birds.
๐ฏ๏ธ As the veil thins and Samhain ๐ approaches, we honor this sacred season of reflection, remembrance, and magic. May this month offer space for both connection and mysteryโan invitation to walk between the worlds and listen closely.
Weโre grateful for each of you and excited to step into this next season with clarity, connection, and ceremony.
See you in the circle.

Okay, so I'm new and thinking about participating in a two night sacred ceremony. I would need to travel there from my city. Should I get a hotel? I see there is on on the 10th and another on on the 24th. I took the course. Should start the dieta two weeks beforehand and do all the things to prepare?
@Leyla
Hi Leyla ๐ Thanks again for reaching outโand itโs wonderful that youโve already taken the course!
Our two-night sacred ceremonies run from Friday evening through Sunday morning, and once you're officially signed up and confirmed, youโll stay on-site at the Church for the full weekend. Your accommodations and meals are included, so thereโs no need to book a hotel for ceremony weekends.
That said, itโs very important to wait until you're officially signed up and have a confirmed spot before beginning any dieta, lifestyle changes, or adjusting medications. Once youโre registered, weโll send you detailed guidance on how and when to begin your preparation. Until then, thereโs no need to start anythingโjust focus on staying grounded and connected.
Since our ceremonies are small (usually 6โ7 people), they do fill up, but cancellations happenโso joining the waitlist is always a good idea if your preferred date is full.
If youโre ever near the area, weโd also love to welcome you to one of our Sunday services, held from 3โ6 PM. These are integration-based gatherings with cacao, group sharing, and meditationโopen to the community and a great way to get a feel for the space. Just note that Sunday services are not overnight events and donโt include meals or lodging.

They have rooms for the ceremony participants. Seperate spaces for men/women. Food, healing and love are all provided. I've been to 2 ceremonies this year and have my 3rd on 10/24 and never needed a thing while there. Jay and Christina take great care and I highly recommend attending. I'll be there on 24th...let's heal 2gether.
@Robby1 It was all filled up. No one told me I had to go to the calendar and sign up online. And since I don't know when the next ceremony is going to be, I went over to ancestral spirit tribe and got signed up over there instead. Do you know anything about them?
@Leyla I do not. Where are they located?? Keep in touch and let me know how it goes. I'm looking at trying a 5 or 7 day ceremony in April for spring equinox.
@Robby1 When does Two Birds usually post their calendar? Because I think I would rather take Ayahuasca in an indoor space rather than outside which is how AST does it. They are in Willis. As far as I know they only do 2 day ceremonies.
Go to My Calendar after tapping the three bars top left and all events are posted. You can click on the ceremony/event and it will say available or wait list. Cruise around on the site and fill out all the medical forms to make sure you are a good fit. They do church every Sun with authentic sharing, music and food to connect with the community. Look 4ward to meeting your soul one day. ๐
