Hello lovely people. My name is Max, I'm from England and I'm planning a journey with with Two Birds in the near future.
I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for places to visit and/or stay before or after ceremony? I'll be flying into and returning from Austin and hoping to have 5 days either side of the weekend.

Hi Max! I’ve done 2 ceremonies with Two Birds. I was advised to stay in McKinney, which is sort of an upscale little town about 30 minutes away. They have a pretty adequate Home 2 Suites (Hilton), amongst a number of other places.

You’ve got some awesome options in and around Austin to explore during your trip:
Casa De Luz – A peaceful vegan spot that’s perfect for a nourishing meal (Dieta Friendly!). The calm atmosphere makes it a great place to recharge.
3rd Eye Meditation Lounge – Right near Casa De Luz, this cozy lounge is perfect for relaxing with a cup of ceremonial cacao. It’s a great spot to chill and unwind.
Enchanted Rock – About 1.5 hours from Austin, this spot is amazing for hiking and taking in beautiful views. There’s a special energy here, especially at sunrise or sunset.
Barton Springs – A classic Austin spot with refreshing spring-fed waters. It’s perfect for relaxing and soaking in nature.
If you’re looking for a good place to stay close to the church, McKinney is a great option. It’s calm, convenient, and makes for a perfect stop to unwind before hitting the road. You can easily find a nice hotel or Airbnb there to decompress and reflect.
