Beautiful Gayatri Mantra

Two Birds Church you're welcome. This particular version will always have a special place in my heart.

I had the experience of singing this one with my ancestors in a kingdom of light while giving and receiving pure love in a moment of perfect surrender. The singing of the Mantra was singing love and beauty into the fabric of the universal consciousness. It fundamentally altered my perspective of reality. The love was everywhere and it's power expressed through this Mantra was absolute. It was pure light. Darkness couldn't exist where this love was present. Like physics. There was no room for darkness. It simply couldn't be there.

It was like experiencing first hand love as the most powerful force in the universe. Like love is a fundamental force of the universe. The Baha'i tradition talks about God creating humanity out of love. I felt like this experience combined with my first Ayahuasca ceremony gave me a true understanding of this idea.

It was like love is so amazing, the universe created from itself other beings capable of perceiving, receiving, understanding and appreciating love and beauty. Which ties into the necessity of experiencing pain. Without the contrast, love can't have true meaning.

Before that, this idea didn't truly make sense. In that moment I felt eternal gratitude for the medicine, the community that keeps is traditions alive, my existence and the understanding it helped me find within myself.
