James Elrod – Founder, Board President, and Ceremony Leader
James Elrod is the heart and visionary behind Two Birds Church. As our founder, Board President, and Ceremony Leader, he combines spiritual leadership with organizational oversight to keep our community aligned with its mission.
James’s journey with Ayahuasca began in 2009, leading him to Peru in 2010 to study with Don Enrique, a revered Shipibo curandero. This transformative experience laid the groundwork for the sacred ceremonies he now leads, blending traditional practices with modern sensibilities. Over the years, James has deepened his expertise, becoming a certified Sapo Practitioner under Peter Gorman and dedicating himself to the ongoing study of self-healing and spiritual transformation.
James’s leadership is both practical and deeply spiritual, offering a steady hand in the operational aspects of the church while creating a safe and sacred space for personal growth and self-discovery.
Christina Titus – Board Secretary and Facilitator
Christina is the organizational anchor of Two Birds Church and a guiding light during ceremonies. As Board Secretary, she ensures seamless coordination and meticulous documentation of all board activities. In ceremonies, her musical talents and compassionate presence create an atmosphere of healing and support.
Christina’s personal journey through healing informs her approach, allowing her to hold space with profound empathy and understanding. Her mastery of music adds an emotional depth to ceremonies, creating a soundscape that guides participants through their inner transformations.

Clayton Berger – Board Treasurer and Facilitator
Clayton is the steward of Two Birds Church’s financial health and an integral part of the facilitation team. As Treasurer, he ensures that resources are managed responsibly to support the church’s mission. In ceremonies, Clayton offers attentive and compassionate support to participants, maintaining the sacred space and ensuring everyone feels safe and cared for.
