Community Outreach

Two Birds takes pride in its commitment to Community Outreach in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Our members actively engage in volunteer work at local shelters, participate in food and clothing drives, support activities for nursing homes, and provide assistance to church members in need. We firmly believe that the cornerstone of any strong foundation is community, and in offering our services to the larger community, we’re also serving ourselves.

The spirit of giving back not only helps us connect with our local communities, but also strengthens bonds within our Church, as we bring our unique truths and lights for the common good. To get involved, simply fill out the volunteer waiver, also found on the ‘My Church forms’ page. Current Outreach Day events can be found on the Church calendar, and we also announce new outreach projects during our Sunday services. This is a wonderful opportunity to put your spirituality into action and connect more deeply with both our church community and the broader community at large.

For those who wish to play a more active role in shaping these outreach efforts, we invite you to consider joining our Outreach Planning Committee. The committee is crucial in planning our outreach activities and coordinating volunteers. It offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the church in a profound way by helping to identify the needs of our broader community and designing initiatives to meet those needs. Joining this committee is a commitment to serving others and fostering a sense of unity and compassion. If you feel called to take up this role, please fill out the ‘Committee Join’ form, also found on the ‘My Church forms’ page. By joining this committee, you will be playing a pivotal role in amplifying the impact of our church within our local community.
