Our Sapo/Kambo Circle at Two Birds Church

At Two Birds Church, we offer a grounded, safety-forward Sapo/Kambo circle that honors tradition with modern best practices. You’ll be guided the whole way with music, mindful pacing, optional HapĂ© for grounding, and a brief sharing circle to help integrate insights.

Choose Your Session Type

Reconnect — 1 Gate (gentle reset)
A lighter session with one application point (“dot/gate”) placed on the upper arm or ankle. Ideal for reconnecting with the medicine or a soft first experience.

Deepen — 2–3 Gates (returning participants)
A stronger session with two to three application points on the upper arm or ankle, co-decided with your facilitator on the day. We cap at 3 gates for safety and focus.

How We Work (Safety-First)

  • Moderate water intake: Up to ~8oz before we begin. Purging isn’t just water—your body may release through sweating, yawning, tears, tremors, or a small purge.

  • Upper arm or ankle only: Application points are limited to these two sites for consistency and safety.

  • Sapo-style sizing: We use slightly larger application points (Sapo style) so that 2–3 gates can be as effective as many smaller points.

  • Water activation: We rehydrate the dried peptides with water for clean, consistent application.

  • Ceremonial container: Guidance, music, optional HapĂ© after, and brief sharing to help you land and learn from the experience.

Important Safety Info & Contraindications

Sapo/Kambo is not appropriate for anyone with the following. If you’re unsure, message our team and we’ll review with you.

  • Under 18 years of age

  • Serious heart conditions, history of stroke or brain hemorrhage

  • Addison’s disease

  • Severe epilepsy

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Current aneurysms or blood clots

  • Recent major surgery or taking medications for low blood pressure

  • Under chemotherapy, radiation, or immune-suppressants (e.g., for organ transplant)

  • Severe mental health instability (depression, PTSD, and anxiety are not automatically excluded)

  • Use of Bufo Alvarius within the last 6–8 weeks
