This song I wrote three years ago. I felt inspired to share it now, but it's taken me several days to gather the courage to record it. This song has many meanings and depths because I've had to heal so many shadows. Theirs a labyrinth of shadows in the mind. The Shadows of Family, Trauma, Betrayal, The Web of Fears, Grief, Shame, Self Hatred, Worthlessness, Hopelessness, Rage, Hatred, Codependency, Insecurities, Abandonment, Suicidal Desires and Imaginations, Nightmares, Panic Attacks, Toxic Relationships, Denial, Isolation, Addiction, Bitterness, Victim Mentality, Pride, Unforgiveness, Nihilism AND SO MUCH MORE but I'm not tryin to write a novel right now. I've been on the internal quest to face my shadows and resolve them and liberate myself for a long time now, so i can live my best most fun life and i couldn't do that with all those shadows leading the way, so I've to face them and heal them so i can move on more empowered and like I said having more fun!! AS MUCH FUN AS POSSIBLE!! because death is guaranteed so i should be fully alive before that happens and go out in gratitude for this incredible journey through life. Amen AHO, May the force be with you. Christina Titus

I am really excited to reconnect at the upcoming Oct ceremony. I've been away from Two Birds for quite some time, but the love I learned has kept me grounded. An absolute unmeasurable gift was given to me at my first ceremony and coming into my fourth...it's still going strong. More heart, less ego and the absolute love of the systems that bind us all together. It's crazy that I care deeply and also not at all at the exact same time. What is to happen will happen and there's just no reason to be upset or angry. Don't like it?? Change it. And the world projected into my experience is a mirror of the universe inside this particular perception of this here and now. I pray "you" the deepest goodness of your slice of all this going on, and may you truly know peace. 🙏 namaste and ❤️‍🔥love to all and a happy change from summer to fall.

Made some lentils and rice for this week. I need to learn how to make Jay's soup. That soup is legit delicious.

Sapo/Kambo dinner this week

Missing my community group. Heading down to San Antonio to say goodbye to my grandmother. Siblings and I decided to do this for our father more than for her…she was never kind to anyone…but this is an opportunity to hold my energetic center and provide space for others.

Signed up for my first Sappo/Kambo!! That is all!

Om Shanti my friends.

August had a good rhythm to it. Sound journeys, ceremonies, Sunday services every week, a potluck to close it out. Nothing flashy — just a full month of people showing up and doing the work. Those are usually the best ones.

Welcome to everyone who joined us in August — Vicki Chandler William Bernatis Angela Zhou Kirsys Cedano Danielle King CINTYA JERIA radhika ghai Joe Nadeau RafaElla Gama Amundson John DeLuca Celeste Tisdale Madison Mann Sam Mann Carmen Daniels William Monahan Claudia Salinas Abdullah Chaudhry Amanda Vincent Johnson Johnson Jolese Maples Charles Pate Ariba Aboobakar Kristoffer Kuvaas Sara Morgan Gerald Beat-Smith Joshua Kieschnick Krystal Schwartz Diana Humann Zachary Keaton FRED G Hendricks Curtis Rogers — 31 of you again this month. Glad you're here. 🙏

And to everyone who keeps coming back week after week — thank you. That's the whole thing.

September's got a full slate. Two ceremonies on the books: a one-night mid-month for those who've already sat with us, and a two-night to close things out. Waitlists are open on both, so get your name down. First-timers, we'll always start you with the full weekend. Beyond that — Sunday service every week, Sapo/Kambo to open the month, a Cacao, Hapé & Sound Journey, Book Club on Zoom Thursday evenings at 6:30, and the potluck on the last Sunday.

Looking ahead, October's a little different. We've got a single three-night ceremony on the calendar, then we're back to the normal rhythm after that — two-nights and one-nights.

Calendar's attached with all the dates. Waitlists, RSVPs, new events, Zoom links, deposits — it all lives here: https://community.twobirdschurch.com/calendar/
