Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Two Birds Church collects through its mobile app and website, why, and what you can do about it.

Who we are
Two Birds Church operates the community at https://community.twobirdschurch.com/ and the mobile app that connects to it, and is responsible for the information described here.
Our postal address is 2493 CR 427, Anna, Texas, 75409, US.
What we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and anything you choose to add to your profile such as a photo or bio. Your profile also asks for a phone number.
- Content you create — posts, comments, reactions, and any images or files you upload. Content posted in the community is visible to other members.
- Direct messages — private messages you send to other members, stored so they can be delivered and read later.
- Course activity — which lessons you have opened and completed, so your progress can be saved.
- Device identifier — an identifier provided by your phone that lets us keep you signed in on that device and sign you out of it again. It is stored on our own server and is never used for advertising.
- Push notification token — an identifier from Apple or Google used to deliver notifications, kept only while notifications are enabled.
- Usage information — basic technical details such as the pages and screens you open, used to keep the service working.
- Crash reports — when the app stops unexpectedly, information about the error and your device is sent to our crash reporting provider so we can fix it. If you were signed in, the report identifies your account so we can tell which session the crash came from.
How we use it
- To run your account and show you the community.
- To deliver notifications you have asked for.
- To keep the service secure and to investigate abuse.
- To fix problems and improve how the app works.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or cross-company tracking.
Who we share it with
- Other members — anything you post publicly in the community, and your profile.
- Apple and Google — only the token needed to deliver push notifications to your device.
- Our crash reporting provider — error reports when the app crashes, including which account was signed in. They process these for us and for no other purpose.
- Service providers who host or maintain the site on our behalf, and anyone we are legally required to disclose to.
Your choices
- Notifications — turn them off at any time in the app, or in your phone settings.
- Your profile and content — edit or delete what you have posted.
- Delete your account — you can delete your account and its data from inside the app, under your profile menu. This is permanent.
- You can also contact us to ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but parts of the site will stop working if you do. The mobile app does not use advertising cookies or trackers.
Links to other sites
Members can post links, and opening one takes you to a site we do not control. This policy does not cover those sites, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account we remove your personal information, except anything we are required to keep by law.
Keeping your information safe
Connections between the app and our site are encrypted. No service can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
You must be 18 or older to have an account here. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger, and will delete it if we find we have.
We have no tolerance for content that exploits or endangers children. Members can report content from inside the app, and reports are reviewed.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update this page and change the date at the top.
