Do you have any experience with other plant sacraments?: Yes, cannabis when younger, and currently on rare occasions. Peyote when teenager, psilocybin approximately 20 times through my life. Salvia one time. Cannibis was enjoyable and creative for the most part, with occasional anxiety. Peyote was life changing. psilocybin has been positive with life changing moments. Salvia was ok but a bit strong and not what I was expecting.

What is bringing you to ceremony at this specific time in your life?: I have been thinking about it and listening to videos for a couple of years. I took a few workshops in shamanic practices and have had a deep interest in plant medicines and spirit ever since I read Carlos Castenada in high school. Out of body experiences and other mystical experiences in life have given me curiosity and direction to find deeper meanings of life, self, and our reality.

Please tell us a little about your Intention for Ceremony: I feel a lot of trapped energy in my heart and throat. I would like to understand more of how my past and generational past has affected my life, perceptions and reactions. I feel like I am a stranger to myself at times and am looking to see who I really am.

Are you currently using any recreational substances?: Yes

Please describe your current substance use: I currently have a glass of wine with dinner 2-3 times a week. If I play music, I drink beer, which is about 2x a month.

Have you ever had a traumatic brain injury (TBI), concussion, or significant head injury?: Yes

Please describe your head injury: A concussion playing highschool soccer when I was 15. I collapsed, stood up, and collapsed again. I came to consciousness as people were helping me to my feet and walking/supporting me to the nurses office.

Please describe your experience with dependency: I started smoking in highschool. I smoked recreationally until I was 30. It was not a dependence as much as it was a common thing to partake in with friends and musicians I played with.

Please describe your previous ceremony experience: I attended June 2024 and it was the most sacred experience of my life! Mother Aya showed me some hard things that I needed to find acceptance in, and I’ve been integrating and moving forward ever since! Looking forward to this special time and listening to the wisdom of Mother, in this next chapter of my life.

Do you have any experience with other plant sacraments?: I have actually used mushrooms a few times in a micro-dosing amount not anything Grand. I would say almost unnoticeable. I have used marijuana frequently over the last year and a half, mostly as a pain reliever and relaxer for my fused parts & as a reprieve to slow down my monkey mind /my ADHD & complex PTSD before bed! It relaxes my body & generally allows my neck nerve muscles to soften. NOT used in large amounts so perhaps I’ve never experienced any great revelations from either plant medicine.

What is bringing you to ceremony at this specific time in your life?: I am making some major moves in my life LIFE, on the external front-as well as internally! I am moving to Connecticut to live with a beautiful man, I met at a meditation retreat over a year ago. Spiritually we are very aligned yet he was raised by a Buddhist & Hindu and I was raised by southern Baptist Deacon! I continue to work on my deep religious indoctrination, as well as abuse. I have been single for 15+ years so this is a huge deal for me to open myself up to a spiritually aligned partner! MATANG, from the Philippians, will be joining me for his first Aya journey! And, we are looking forward to the integration phase, together. Honestly, he’s probably the first male that I have been able to completely open up to about spiritual matters, my feelings about my religious indoctrination, and our combined emotional wellness at this point of our journeys. He has been divorced for about seven years, and I would say spiritually more mature than me~ being raised with these ancient practices. I have slowly let most of everything of my old life go over the last few years. I know this journey is aligned at this time in my life. I promised myself, I would try to go back home to Mother Aya to visit/partake & listen at least once a year ! I look forward to seeking refuge and unfolding in the bosom of TWO BIRDS CHURCH and Mother Aya, to glean her wisdom on my coming and current NOW! 💖I HAVE BEEN OUT OF THE AREA OF ANNA TEXAS FOR ABOUT SIX MONTHS TRAVELING AND I’M VERY MUCH LOOKING FORWARD TO COMING HOME TO MY CHURCH FAMILY AND MOTHER AYA FOR HER WISDOM IN THIS SEASON. CAN’T WAIT- LITERALLY CAN’T WAIT TO SURRENDER AND OPEN MYSELF UP TO THESE BEAUTIFUL SACRAMENTS AGAIN!

Please tell us a little about your Intention for Ceremony: My intention for the ceremony is to let mother Aya show me what else needs to be purified in my life for this next season of my growth! Everything in my world is changing and yet I’m very willing to let it go as it doesn’t serve me anymore and I don’t really care about most things in life anymore, except trying to continually heal myself, self regulate, my nervous system, and get into the best divine alignment that I can at this stage! My values have changed in life and I desire a clean temple and a slower paced life and I think whether Aya can help me see the last or ongoing areas in my life that I need to purge to fully go forward and heal my physical body not only my mental body! I still have blocked trauma in my body and I know that it is from trauma and I want to further address and release this so that it does not hold me or my relationship back!

Please describe your current substance use: I currently am using cannabis nightly before bed. Usually two puffs will do me to release my neck and help me sleep a little better! I will absolutely discontinue before my Aya journey so that I can be the most powerful experience with Mother Aya possible.

(List medications, dosage, and how often you take it please, and reason for taking): Valtrex- cold sore 1x morning -Natropathic doctors/Liquid tincture hormone replacement therapy =AM/PM = ALL NATURAL frequency healing therapy (Multi vitamin /4000C/D3/Magnesium SamE- enzyme/mag)

Health Conditions: I have NECK fusions- C3-C7 /necks C2 is hyper mobile & I’ve had 2 right rotator cuff surgeries w/fusions! Please note: 😌I will have just completed stem cells in both knees 6 days prior to Aya journey. My Orthopedic Surgeon ~Dr.Movva has stated it will be safe for me to do the journey, anywhere after 3 days from injections. I may be soar but not medically unsafe. (Otherwise in relatively good health!)

Please describe your previous ceremony experience: The past two ceremonies have been wonderful, inspiring. Both times I sat close to Jay. It went really well, but I get lots and lots of diarrhea. Which is a big concern.

Do you have any experience with other plant sacraments?: Yes, once I did Mushrooms as a private spiritual setting at home. Very well, it was also another surprising adventure.

What is bringing you to ceremony at this specific time in your life?: I am a serious spiritual seeker and practitioner. I am seeking to engage with the divine, seeking awakening, favor, and guidance. This weekend also happens to be the conclusion of my current 4 month meditation daily practice. And I can't think of a better way to engage with the Goddess, and to bring her wisdom to my consciousness via the sacred medicine.

Please tell us a little about your Intention for Ceremony: I seek to meet with the Goddess, I seek to know what I can't see. If awakening is my birthright, then I seek the stillness and wisdom to claim it.

Please describe your head injury: I was in a car accident in November, there was no concussion or head injury, but I did loose consciousness after the accident for 30 minutes or so and the memories of that day. Otherwise, I feel very peaceful now.

Please describe your experience with dependency: I am sober, always have been. Up until the accident I would drink socially on the weekends. Since the accident, I haven't used it a lot less, if at all.
