This is a free church event. These gatherings are sustained by love donations, which help us continue creating spaces for authentic connection and growth.

If you feel called, help us continue our mission—donate now or become a recurring donor to support our community

Our Sunday Services take place weekly at our church in Anna. Sunday Service is how we carry the work into daily life. Just as in ceremony we sit with whatever arises—fear, grief, resistance, or denial—the same is true on Sundays.

We gather as a community of practice, people committed to facing themselves honestly rather than escaping into fantasy or distraction. This is not a place for performance, preaching, or surface-level talk, but a space to continue the journey of self-responsibility and authentic connection.

We are only as healed as the truths we are willing to face. Sunday Service offers a place to practice that honesty—together. It works a lot like a support group: people share honestly and listen without fixing. It is not ceremony, but it is sacred work. Here, we strengthen the muscles of authenticity, self-responsibility, and presence—so that when we return to ceremony, or to the challenges of daily life, we are more ready to sit with ourselves fully.

The Flow of Service

Cacao & Arrival (3:00–3:30)
We begin with cacao, a gentle heart-opener, as we arrive and settle into presence.

Authentic Sharing (3:30–5:00)
Each week we work with a guided prompt—something simple, focused, and intentional to help us look beneath the surface. These prompts shift with the seasons and with the inner work of our community, helping us stay grounded in honesty and integration rather than drifting into performance or avoidance.

Everyone is invited—but never required—to share from their own lived experience. We follow clear guidelines: speak only for yourself, no advice-giving, no responding to others, no fixing. This creates a safe and steady container where each person can explore what’s true for them without interruption or pressure.

Your share can be deep or simple, emotional or quiet—what matters is honesty. The prompt gives direction, but the real practice is learning to name what’s true without bypassing, storytelling, or spiritual theatrics.

Authentic Sharing is where we practice meeting ourselves the same way we do in ceremony—openly, courageously, and without turning away.

Meditation, Music & Integration (5:00–6:00)
The final hour includes guided practices that help deepen what arises in the circle—meditation, sound journeys, breathwork, or gentle movement. These practices help ground insights and integrate them into daily life.

Community Potluck (Last Sunday of Each Month)
We end the final Sunday of the month with a potluck, extending connection into food, laughter, and fellowship.

What time does the Sunday Service start and end?

Sunday Service runs from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at our church in Anna, Texas. You're welcome to stay afterward and spend time with the community.

Is Sunday Service free?

Yes. Sunday Service is free and open to everyone, and it always will be.

What or who do you worship at Two Birds Church?

We're a non-denominational church, and people of all beliefs are welcome. We don't worship outside entities or deities.

We believe healing and growth come from within, and we honor the divine in each person. Our focus is self-awareness, personal change and a deeper connection with the universal spirit, which we often call God. Each person has the potential to heal themselves.

What is the structure of a typical Sunday Service?

Each service is different, but most follow the same shape: cacao and time to settle in, a sharing circle with a guided prompt, then a closing of meditation, music, breathwork or movement.

What is the role of cacao in your Sunday Services?

We offer cacao at the start of the service to anyone who wants it.

Can new members participate in the Sunday Service?

Yes, new members are welcome. During the group check-in you can introduce yourself and share as much or as little as you like.

Do I have to sit in ceremony to be a member?

No. Ceremony isn't required for membership. Some of our members can't take part in ceremonies for medical reasons, and they're just as much a part of our church.

What types of activities are included in the service?

It changes week to week: meditation, song circles, breathwork, sound baths, dietary coaching, yoga and more. Each one gives you tools to carry what came up in ceremony into daily life.

Is participation in the activities mandatory?

No. Join in as much or as little as you want.

I'm an empath or sensitive to energies. Does your church offer protection from negative energies or entities?

We see feelings of negative energy or entities as coming from inside us: our fears, insecurities and old wounds. Our principle of Inner Responsibility means owning our emotions instead of blaming outside forces.

So we don't offer protection from outside influences. We ask you to turn inward, face what's there, and treat those fears as teachers. Honesty and accountability turn that discomfort into growth.

What should I bring to a Sunday Service?

Nothing in particular. A journal and a water bottle are handy, and wear comfortable clothes in case there's yoga or meditation.

Are children or families welcome at the Sunday Service?

Yes, families and children are welcome. We ask that children respect the quiet, reflective space.

On the second Sunday of each month we hold Little Birds, a service made for kids. Check the calendar for dates.

How can I get involved with leading or contributing to a Sunday Service?

Guest leaders need to have sat in our ceremonies and be active members of the church. Our services help people integrate ceremony, so we look for leaders who are doing that work themselves.

If that's you, talk to a church leader after a service or contact us through the website.

Is there a dress code for Sunday Services?

No. Wear something comfortable, since we may do meditation or yoga.

Can Two Birds Church provide a vaccination waiver for legal or medical purposes?

No. The framework we gave the government when the church was founded takes no position against vaccination, so we can't say that membership keeps anyone from being vaccinated.

Vaccination is outside our religious beliefs and practices, and we respect each person's own choice.
