Our Sunday Services take place weekly at our church in Anna. Sunday Service is how we carry the medicine into daily life. Just as in ceremony we sit with whatever arises—fear, grief, resistance, or denial—the same is true on Sundays.

We gather as a community of practice, people committed to facing themselves honestly rather than escaping into fantasy or distraction. This is not a place for performance, preaching, or surface-level talk, but a space to continue the journey of self-responsibility and authentic connection.

We are only as healed as the truths we are willing to face. Sunday Service offers a place to practice that honesty—together. It is not group therapy, but it is deeply therapeutic. It is not ceremony, but it is sacred work. Here, we strengthen the muscles of authenticity, self-responsibility, and presence—so that when we return to ceremony, or to the challenges of daily life, we are more ready to sit with ourselves fully.

The Flow of Service

Cacao & Arrival (3:00–3:30)
We begin with cacao, a gentle heart-opener, as we arrive and settle into presence.

Authentic Sharing (3:30–5:00)
The circle is our practice ground. Each person is invited—but never required—to share openly from their present truth. Whether joy, struggle, or silence, all are welcome. What matters is honesty. This mirrors the work of the mat: letting go of denial, facing what’s real, and discovering freedom in authenticity.

Meditation, Music & Integration (5:00–6:00)
The final hour includes guided practices that help deepen what arises in the circle—meditation, sound journeys, breathwork, or gentle movement. These practices help ground insights and integrate them into daily life.

Community Potluck (Last Sunday of Each Month)
We end the final Sunday of the month with a potluck, extending connection into food, laughter, and fellowship.

What time does the Sunday Service start and end?

Our Sunday Service begins at 3:00 PM at Two Birds Church in Anna, Texas, and generally concludes around 6:00 PM. After the service, participants are welcome to stay and deepen their connections with the community.

What or who do you worship at Two Birds Church?

As a non-denominational church, we are open to all beliefs and honor the spiritual journeys of individuals from diverse backgrounds. However, we do not worship external entities or deities. Our core belief is that true healing and growth come from within, and we honor the divine essence within each person. We focus on self-awareness, personal transformation, and deepening our connection with the universal spirit (which we often refer to as God). We believe each individual holds the potential to heal themselves, rather than attributing power to external forces or worshiping outside entities.

What is the structure of a typical Sunday Service?

While each Sunday Service varies, we follow a general structure. We start with a group check-in where participants share their thoughts or experiences, followed by an activity led by a church leader or guest, such as meditation, breathwork, or song circles. The service concludes with a final sharing session and community bonding.

What is the role of cacao in your Sunday Services?

We offer cacao at the beginning of the service to those who desire it. Cacao acts as a heart-opening medicine, helping to foster emotional connection, authenticity, and vulnerability. It prepares participants for a more introspective experience by gently stimulating the mind and heart.

Can new members participate in the Sunday Service?

Absolutely! New members are warmly welcomed at our Sunday Services. During our group check-in, new members are encouraged to introduce themselves, and they have the opportunity to share and connect with the community in an open, accepting environment.

What types of activities are included in the service?

Our Sunday Services offer a wide range of activities to support spiritual growth, such as meditations, song circles, breathwork, sound baths, dietary coaching, yoga, and more. Each week’s activity is designed to provide tools for integrating ceremony experiences into daily life.

Is participation in the activities mandatory?

Participation is encouraged but never mandatory. We believe in the importance of personal choice, and attendees are free to engage in the activities as much or as little as they feel comfortable.

I’m an empath/sensitive to energies. Does your church offer protection from negative energies or entities?

At Two Birds Church, we understand that feelings of negative energies or entities often stem from our own inner landscapes—our fears, insecurities, and unhealed wounds. In alignment with our principle of Inner Responsibility, we believe that healing begins when we fully own our emotions and experiences, rather than attributing them to external forces.

Instead of offering protection from outside influences, we invite individuals to turn inward, to courageously face their fears, and to embrace the shadows within as invaluable teachers. Through self-exploration, honesty, and personal accountability, we can transform discomfort into growth. By recognizing that every feeling is a reflection of our inner state, we empower ourselves to cultivate genuine peace, stability, and self-awareness, free from the need to blame or fear what lies beyond us.

What should I bring to a Sunday Service?

You don’t need to bring anything specific, but a journal and/or water bottle can come in handy. Comfortable clothing is recommended, especially if there are activities like yoga or meditation.

Are children or families welcome at the Sunday Service?

Yes, all are welcome at our Sunday Services, including families and children. We do recommend that children participate in a way that respects the sacred space and introspective atmosphere. In addition, we offer a special Little Birds Service on the 2nd Sunday of each month, which is designed specifically for kids. Please check our calendar for more information on these family-friendly services.

How can I get involved with leading or contributing to a Sunday Service?

To be a guest leader at our Sunday Services, it’s essential that you have participated in our ceremonies and are an active member of Two Birds Church. Since our services are designed to help integrate the ceremonial experience, we seek leaders who are actively involved in “doing the work.” If this resonates with you, feel free to connect with a church leader after a service or reach out through our website to discuss the opportunity.

Is there a dress code for Sunday Services?

There is no formal dress code. We encourage you to wear comfortable clothing that allows you to feel at ease, especially given the variety of activities we offer, such as meditation and yoga.

Can Two Birds Church provide a vaccination waiver for legal or medical purposes?

Two Birds Church’s framework, as provided to the government when the church was established, does not include any position against vaccinations. Because of this, we cannot affirm that being part of our church prohibits individuals from receiving vaccinations.

Our core practices focus on fostering authentic spiritual connection, self-reflection, and emotional healing, with Ayahuasca as our sacred sacrament. While we deeply respect each individual’s personal choices and spiritual journey, vaccinations are outside the scope of our religious beliefs and practices.
